The Derma Renew Vitamin Steam Peel

Exclusive to NLAC

After an initial consultation with one of our therapists, we will devise which vitamins to use within the steam infusion to create the perfect results for your skin. The treatment can be used for both young and mature skin types, and for a wide list of ailments.

Relax whilst the vitamin infusion is steamed over the skin, opening the pores and allowing the vitamins to be absorbed deep into the dermis. The skin becomes detoxed and cleansed. The pores will be open to allow for extraction of any dirt and particles. The vitamins get to work increasing collagen production and rejuvenating the cells, killing bacteria and anti-oxidising.

The results from the treatment are a reduction in fines lines and wrinkles, reduction in photo-damage on the skin, cleaned pores, reduction of blemishes on the skin and anti-oxidised skin. We normally suggest clients take a course of 3 treatments.
It is important to remember this is not a facial, it is an advanced skincare treatment with proven results.

1. Vitamin A

Vitamin A is necessary for the maintenance and repair of vital skin tissue, vitamin A is the key to healthy skin. If you’re deficient in vitamin A, your skin may take on a dry, flaky complexion. Research by the American Academy of Dermatology has shown that when used on the skin, lotions containing vitamin A can help control acne and reduce lines and wrinkles.

2. Vitamin B Complex

Vitamin B complex contains the nutrient, biotin, which forms the basis of nails, skin, and hair cells. Too little vitamin B complex in your diet can cause dermatitis or hair loss. B vitamins can instantly hydrate cells and give a healthy glow to skin. Vitamin B has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and to even out skin tone.

3. Vitamin C

Vitamin C - is a great anti-oxidant, purifier, skin brightener. Potentially, vitamin C can benefit skin in two important ways. Firstly, vitamin C is essential for the synthesis of collagen, a key structural protein of the skin. Adding vitamin C to a culture of skin cells (fibroblasts) dramatically increases the synthesis of collagen. Secondly, vitamin C is an antioxidant and can help reduce skin damage caused by free radicals. So, when vitamin C is properly delivered into skin cells, there is a good chance to reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture.

4. Vitamin E

Use vitamin E on your skin to help reduce the appearance of scars and rough, dry skin. For stubborn scars, try rubbing vitamin E oil on the scar to reduce its appearance.
